Zefeng Wang

Professor Zefeng Wang graduated from Tsinghua University with dual degrees in Life Sciences and Computer Science and obtained his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Johns Hopkins University, USA. He completed his post-doc training at MIT.
Formerly an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he is currently a principal investigator at the Max Planck Institute for Computational Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. With over 20 years of research in molecular biology and computational biology of RNA, Professor Wang has four patents for innovative inventions in artificial protein design and circRNA. His research on RNA splicing, translation, and transcriptomics is at the forefront internationally, with multiple related research achievements published in top international journals like Cell, Molecular Cell, Cancer Cell, and Nature Methods. Professor Zefeng Wang has received numerous accolades, including the Max-Planck Fellow, China's Ten Thousand Talents Program, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Pioneer Initiative "Hundred Talents Program" (Category A), the Shanghai Thousand Talents Plan, the Sloan Research Award, and the Beckman Young Investigator Award. In 2023, he served as a member of the 9th Expert Advisory Committee of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Division of Life Sciences. Yun Yang

Dr. Yun Yang graduated from Zhejiang University with a degree in Bioinformatics and earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the same institution. He completed his post-doc training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of California, Los Angeles.
Formerly an associate investigator at the Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Dr. Yang has long been engaged in RNA processing, translation regulation, and their applications, especially making significant original contributions in the field of RNA alternative splicing and circRNA translation regulation. Dr. Yang has led several national and Shanghai scientific research projects and has been honored as a member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and received the Shanghai Science and Technology Rising-Star Award.
Chenxiang Tang

Dr. Chenxiang Tang graduated from Tsinghua University with dual degrees in Life Sciences and Economics, and earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University in the United States. He has over ten years of experience in biomedical research and development, industrialization, and management, with extensive experience in corporate operations management. Dr. Tang has held positions such as Assistant to the Chairman of SOHO China, Assistant to the President of Shanghai Mab-Venture, and CEO of Hengrui Medicine's subsidiary, MabGen Biotech.
